Gymnasts train long and hard, and the most dedicated ones will tell you that the hardest days are the best. Why? Because those are the days that champions like Herbalife-sponsored gymnast, Neta Rivkin, are made. Rivkin competes on behalf of Israel’s national rhythmic gymnastics team and is set to compete on the world stage this summer. As someone who has dedicated her life to the sport, she takes a keen interest in its evolution. “I think rhythmic gymnastics has evolved a great deal over the past few years,” she says. “It looks totally different than it did in the past. The current rules place greater emphasis on the dance steps and the character of the routine, making the routine much more interesting to watch.”

Competitive rhythmic gymnastics is a dynamic sport in which you must focus on multiple disciplines. Rivkin performs a wide variety of routines using a hoop, a ball, a ribbon and batons. To create her performance, she must train eight to nine hours a day and place an immense load on her body. In addition, she has to contend with all of the expectations and mental stress. To help her prepare, she has a world-class team on her side. “My team is made up of various professionals, each of whom has a significant part in my success,” she says. “I have a personal trainer, ballet teacher, choreographer, physiotherapist, masseuse and doctors. My personal trainer does most of the hard, day to day work. However, they each help me in their own field. As a team, we have obtained good results.”

To further help achieve the results she desires, Rivkin focuses on a healthy and balanced diet. “It’s important to give the body energy and a sense of wellbeing so that it can deal with stress,” she says. “I like Herbalife® products because they are effective in helping me maintain my athletic lifestyle.” In particular, Rivkin likes Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport in vanilla flavor because “it’s tasty, convenient, nutritious and a good meal replacement at times when a proper meal is not possible.” She also likes Herbalife® Herbal Aloe Concentrate because “it has a good flavor, it’s refreshing and helps me to consume the amount of liquid my body requires.” As for her partnership with Herbalife, she considers it a win-win situation where both parties benefit from each other’s expertise.

With all of the hard work and effort Rivkin has put in, she is enthusiastic about her future. “I am focused on my preparation for an upcoming competition and I am eager to make my team and my country proud.”
